A week-long testing exercise “C.U.A.S February 26” took place at the General Silvestras Žukauskas training ground in Pabradė, focusing on countering unmanned and uncontrolled aerial systems. During the exercise, newly developed technologies designed to detect and neutralize drones and other aerial targets, such as meteorological balloons, were tested.
The Lithuanian Armed Forces provided an opportunity for companies from the defence and security sector to demonstrate their technological solutions and test their performance in real conditions. Participants showcased drone detection systems, interceptor drones and other airspace security solutions.
DBOX also took part in the testing activities, presenting its technological solutions together with several partners. During the exercise, the team demonstrated the DBOX autonomous drone station, as well as a dirigible-based project aimed at enhancing airspace monitoring and situational awareness.
Such testing environments allow technologies to be evaluated in realistic operational scenarios while strengthening collaboration between the armed forces, industry and innovation-driven organizations.
The event brought together Lithuanian defence industry consortia, companies and guests from Latvia and Estonia. The exercises were observed by representatives of government institutions, defence industry, venture capital funds and the scientific community.
Initiatives like this accelerate the development of new technologies and contribute to strengthening national security capabilities.
