We were honoured to be invited by Riga Municipality and the Riga Police to demonstrate how the DBOX autonomous drone-in-a-box system could be implemented within the 5G4LIVES project — the starting point for a Drone as First Responder (DFR) program in Latvia.

The demonstration took place over Lake Ķīšezers on 1 July 2026. Across multiple successful flights, DBOX PRT operated in a fully 5G environment, with missions executed end-to-end autonomously — from mission scheduling to data delivery back to the server for analysis.

Drone as First Responder programs are transforming how cities and police forces respond to incidents — and we're proud that DBOX is already proving this operationally in Vilnius City Municipality and now demonstrating it in Riga.
